How to upgrade/downgrade my package?

How can I upgrade a shared hosting package (cPanel or Plesk)?

 

Upgrades: Upgrades between the same package types (E.g.: Linux Shared Hosting to Linux Shared Hosting, Linux Cloud Hosting to Linux Cloud Hosting, Windows Hosting to Windows Hosting, etc.) can be done from the client area and you will get a credit refund for the unused period of your existing package.

But you cannot upgrade to a different type (E.g.: You cannot upgrade from Windows hosting to Linux Hosting and vice-versa). If you want to upgrade to a different type, you will have to cancel the existing package and place a new order for a different package and no credit refund for the unused period will be issued.

In order to upgrade your package, please access your client area account via https://manage.greenline.lk/

  • Then navigate to your "Services" and you should be able to see the list of your packages
  • Click on the package that you would like to upgrade
  • Click on "Upgrade/Downgrade" under "Actions" from the left side menu bar.

 

Note: You should only be able to see the available upgrade options. If you cannot find any option, it means you will have to place a new order for your requirement.

Then you can choose the package you want to upgrade your current package to from the options shown and continue through the shopping card

 

Downgrades: Please note that we do not support account downgrades. If your current package has to be downgraded, you have to cancel it after taking your backups and then place a new order for a different package. No credit refund for the unused period will be issued.

 

How can I upgrade a service other than a shared hosting service?

 

Upgrades: Upgrades are only possible between the same package range (E.g.: Basic Email Hosting to Basic Email Hosting, Radio Hosting to Radio Hosting, etc.). Please open a sales/billing support ticket to check the available options and you will be able to get a credit refund for the unused period.

 

Downgrades: If your current package has to be downgraded, please open a sales/billing ticket to check the available options with us. No credit refund for the unused period will be issued.
